2. General Information on Data Processing

We collect and use personal data of our users only to the extent necessary for providing a functional website as well as our content and services.

3. Hosting

Our website is hosted by Hostinger. When you visit our website, the server automatically collects information in so-called server log files (IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, browser type). This data cannot be attributed to specific individuals and is not merged with other data sources.

4. Contact Form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the form, including the contact data you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not share this data without your consent.

5. Web Fonts (self-hosted)

This site uses web fonts for consistent typography that are served exclusively from our own server. No connection to Google servers or any other third party is established, and your IP address is not transmitted to third parties.

5a. Embedded videos (YouTube)

On some pages we embed videos from YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). We use a two-click solution: when the page loads, only a preview image served from our own server is shown. No connection to YouTube or Google takes place.

Only when you actively click the preview image is the video loaded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Your IP address is then transmitted to Google and usage data may be processed. The legal basis is your consent given by that click pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TTDSG.

5b. Reach measurement (own server)

To measure the reach of this site we operate our own, self-hosted method. It records only: the page requested, the referral source, the device category (mobile/desktop) and the time spent on the page.

No cookies are set and no IP addresses are stored, and no user profiles are created. No personal identification is possible and no data is passed to third parties. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a statistical evaluation of site usage pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

6. Google Analytics 4

This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated is transferred to a Google server and stored there.

Legal basis: The use of Google Analytics is based exclusively on your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TTDSG. Without your active consent given via our cookie banner, no data is transmitted to Google.

Data collected: Page views, time on page, approximate geographic location (city/region), device and browser used, traffic source (e.g. search engine or direct). The IP address is processed in anonymized form (IP anonymization enabled).

Retention period: Data collected by Google Analytics is automatically deleted after 14 months.

Revocation: You can revoke your consent at any time via the cookie icon in the bottom right of the page. Additionally, you can prevent tracking using a browser add-on: Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Data transfer to the USA: Google may transfer data to the USA. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, ensuring an adequate level of data protection.

For more information on how Google Analytics handles user data, see Google's Privacy Policy.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectification, deletion and restriction of the processing of your personal data. Furthermore, you have the right to object to processing as well as the right to data portability. Please contact us at kontakt@corescale.de.

8. Changes to the Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy to ensure it always complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the privacy policy.
